Our camping trip to church

So we went camping a couple weekends ago. It was not quite as relaxing as planned but we still had tons of fun.

On Sunday morning we cleaned up and went to the near by ward building. We got there soon after the ward started. After the sacrament prayer I leaned over to Kevan and said "Does this ward have missionaries?" Right then the preisthood holders stood up to pass the sacrament and I blerted out (a little louder than I meant to in a silent room) "THAT'S MY COUSIN!" My cousin Andrew was sent to the neighboring mission from ours and was passing the sacrament! We were sitting near the back and as he got up to us we leaned forward to catch his eye and he got a huge grin on his face and shook his head. I texted my mom, my three sisters, and his mom quickly (yes I sinned and texted in sacrament meeting) and waited for him after the meeting. We talked for about half an hour and for my family here is what went on:

He looks so grownup in his nice new pinstripped suit. He was wearing his glasses and looked so mature! His hair looked really dark brown (about my color) and his hair cut looked sharp. We sat behind him so I noticed :) The ward he is serving in actually reminds me a lot of West Virginia. It small and they track the membership on a board outside the chapel. The building in gorgeous. There are tons of quarries there so the chapel has a big stone wall. His companion is a shorty who is close to going home. He told us a little about tracting and how run into some pretty crazy stuff. He mentioned that he hasn't been getting any letters. Oops! I'm so guilty of forgetting to write.
Here is the picture we took:

Please excuse my appearance! That's what you get when you are camping and stinky and go to church and then get your picture taken by a phone. Lesson learned: listen to the promptings you have. To all of my family: Don't forget to write Elder Bryner (the elder and the younger!).

It felt really weird saying "Love you!" to a missionary as we walked out of the building.
