5 Months

I promise I will try to update more. This whole once a month thing is kinda boring I know! Preslee is now 5 months and she has exploded into a ball of activity. She can make it across the room in 30 seconds. She rolls and rolls and gets up on her toes and scoots herself. She has learned to swing her legs to the side and find leverage to turn her body (did that make sense?). She loves toys! She is really good with grabbing and putting things in her mouth. She has got some serious skill with her paci. She can take it out and look at it and put it back in.

She has gone through a growth spurt last weekend and she took an extra nap in addition to extra long naps a few days ago. She slept a total of FIVE hours during the day and was awake less than she slept during her naps. She is working super hard to perfect sitting up right now and she eats a ton of rice cereal every night. Tonight I was typing an email and she had scooted across the floor and was at the edge of where the carpet ends and the wood floor begins and she had shredded some of the carpet and was putting it in her mouth.

Her voice is starting to shift to more distinctive sounds. Last night Kevan came home to tuck her in and as we were praying I was holding her and she looked up at Kevan and laughed like she was glad he was there. It was so cute.

Here are her pictures. Note to self: Don't do this again without Kevan home. Since she loves putting things in her mouth and she is quick, getting her to leave the sign on her tummy alone was hard.
