- First of all isn't she a DOLL!?! Those cheeks have made many a person swoon.
- Second she is distracted. We were at the front of the park and you can see the cars drive by the front and she was very interested. When she nurses she the first few minutes she stops every little bit to look around especially if she can hear her daddy's voice.
- Third look at that pinch on the back of my arm. I have SCRATCHES on the back of my arm from her little nails. The only thing that isn't representative of her in this picture is that she is constantly smiling and laughing. It was pretty cold outside yesterday and she was not so happy being outside.
Right now we're trying to wean her off of swaddling. She can get her arms out and then she can't sleep.
I can't wait for next week because the doctor is going to give us the go ahead to give her real solids. She eats 3-4 ounces every night of rice cereal and she is super interested in everything we eat. Yesterday I made some apple sauce for her to freeze and we gave her a bit. She gave awesome faces.

What a sweetie!
Now a note for you, Brooke. You are that baby's mother. YOU decide when she starts solids. If she's ready, she's ready!
Doctors are great and brilliant, but twenty minutes every other month with your baby doesn't give them the right to take away your power as the mother. You do NOT need a doctor's permission for pretty much anything short of a prescription.
nice idea, thanks for sharing...
Waddaheck? ^^
Beautiful baby and I agree with your friend, Jordon. I'm an "old school" Mom, who once was told by my children's doctor, that I needed to TRUST MY OWN INSTINCTS as a mom. I am thankful to that Docter who basically gave me the freedom to be a Mom. Many today, tend to think they are gods and we have to do what they say.
Anyway I was just blog surfing and your beautiful little girl just caught my eye...blessings to you and yours.
Kevan does have a mean swaddle...
She IS a doll!!~
